Coptis, a provider of digital solutions for the cosmetics R&D, has appointed Roland de Heere as Chief Executive Officer.
Bringing to the role over a decade of extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, and operational management across multiple industries, Roland de Heere takes over from Jonathan Coeur who assumed the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Global, at the company when the Extens equity funds came on board in 2021.
Prior to joining Coptis, Roland de Heere worked in various management positions within several technology companies. The last four years, Roland was managing Redspher’s operations, overseeing a EUR 300 million revenue ecosystem and leading a team of over 340 employees. And from 2018 to 2021, as CEO, Roland de Heere spearheaded Upela’s growth, turning it into a key player in the e-commerce and logistics space with EUR 12 million in revenue.
In his role as CEO, Mr. de Heere will be responsible to drive Coptis innovation and growth, leveraging his experience in technology-driven companies, customer-centric approaches and his sense of operational excellence.
As the company celebrates its 25th anniversary, the new CEO wants to look to the future. “In 2025, our goal is to strengthen our commitment to our customers. We aspire for Coptis to be more than just a tool – a true partner in optimizing your R&D processes. Our ambition is to provide cosmetic laboratories with solutions that save time, reduce constraints, and allow you to focus on what matters most, innovation. Together, we will continue to push boundaries and write this inspiring story, overcoming every challenge the future holds,” said Roland de Heere.
