Three of the SVR’s latest launches – [C] Eye Biotic brightening under eye cream, Sensifine Extrême cream for sensitive skin and Sun Secure Fluide Photo-Age SPF50+, now benefit from the protection of Aptar Beauty’s Micro airless technology. Renowned for its expertise, the brand is a leading authority in dermocosmetic skincare and body treatments.
According to Aptar, the Micro airless technology combines optimal formula protection, eco-design and a high level of consumer experience.
A versatile packaging solution
For these launches, SVR selected 15ml, 30ml, and 40ml formats from the range of available sizes. The packaging was produced and decorated in the brand’s signature colors at Aptar Beauty’s expert airless technology facility in Villingen, Germany.
SVR’s design choices allowed decoration and assembly to be carried out internally, at the same plant, thus avoiding additional transportation costs or CO2 emissions.
“Micro is seducing more and more brands, thanks to its great versatility and formula protection benefits, particularly in the booming dermocosmetics market. It is the ideal solution for brands who demand sustainable packaging without compromising on product performance,” said Michael Hoer, Regional Platform Manager Airless, Marketing EMEA Aptar Beauty.
Recyclable packaging
The Micro airless packaging solution is full plastic, including the pump cartridge. It is certified 97-98% recyclable [1] by the independent institute for recyclability and product responsibility, cyclos-HTP.
The range is also available as standard in a mono-material fully recyclable polyethylene (PE) version, as well as in a variety of recyclable and recycled materials, including
Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR Plus) resins, recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate), and ISCC certified mixed recycled materials. Compliance with ECOCERT and COSMOS standards for organic and natural cosmetics is also possible.
