Twisted Metal Season 2 First Look Images, Teaser Give Us A Demolition Derby & Release Date

The first season of Peacock’s Twisted Metal featured Anthony Mackie as John Doe, a guy who goes on a road trip from hell in a post-apocalyptic world inspired by the video game of the same name.

We’ve got a second season of the action comedy coming our way, and—thanks to a teaser and first look images that Peacock released today—a glimpse of the upcoming episodes and when we’ll be able to see them.

Here’s the synopsis for the second season:

Following the revelations in the season one finale, John (Mackie) and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso (Anthony Carrigan). As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth (Joe Seanoa, voiced by Will Arnett), things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface (Tiana Okoye).

In addition to the names above, the second season features Mike Mitchell, Saylor Bell Curda, Patty Guggenheim, Richard De Klerk, Michael James Shaw, and Lisa Gilroy. The series is showrun by Michael Jonathan Smith.

The second season of Twisted Metal premieres on Peacock on July 31, 2025.
