What can and should growers expect heading into 2025? There are certain movements to keep an eye on for a baseline of where to focus your business efforts, including predictions from economists, evolving consumer preferences, and industry-specific trends.

American Floral Endowment‘s upcoming webinar on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, as part of its ongoing Grow Pro series, will cover these trends and more to help growers stay ahead of the curve in the new year. Covered topics of the webinar will include:

  • 2025 economy predictions
  • Consumer trend predictions for 2025
  • Marketing strategies for 2025
  • Outlook for greenhouse crops

The featured speakers for “Trends to Watch in 2025” are Dr. Charlie Hall, Professor and Ellison Chair in International Floriculture at Texas A&M University, and Dr. Melinda Knuth, Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University. Knuth completed her Ph.D. in horticulture at Texas A&M University prior to working as an Assistant Professor at NC State. Hall completed his Ph.D. at Mississippi State University, with expertise in floriculture and the green industry, after receiving his master’s degree in ornamental horticulture and landscape design at the University of Tennessee.
